For the purpose of looking more cool or handsome, would you wear a suit, buttoned up, with the tie just showing near the collar, or a suit with the full front open, exposing the whole tie and shirt underneath?

What looks better to you, a buttoned up Suit, or a open Suit?

Depends largely on the man's build in my opinion. A button-up tends to look best on lean, slimmer guys. While an open suit looks best on a broader-shaped man.

A 3 buttoned suit should have the middle button only done up, anything else is plain wrong.
