    Main-Hand + Off-Hand Or Two-Hand Stave?

    So I'm currently using this

    Drakebinder Greatstaff (Flexible)
    http://www.wowhead.com/item=104752

    But I have these

    Kardris' Scepter (LFR)
    http://www.wowhead.com/item=105043

    Purehearted Cricket Cage (Flexible)
    http://www.wowhead.com/item=104697

Should I use the Main-Hand with the Off-Hand? Or just stick with the stave?

    I'm a 528 Resto Druid.

    Staff:
    2765 stam (who cares)
    1763 Int
    1385 Spirit
    10557 Spell Power
    870 Mastery
Yellow socket (assume +320 Mastery, if you're Resto)

    MH+OH:
    2600 (again who cares)
    1573 Int
    1061 Spirit
    9439 Spell Power
    491 Mastery
    496 Haste
    Red Socket (assume +160 Int)
    +160 int OH enchant

So, MH/OH will give more Int, but less Spell Power and less Mastery. Unless the OH gives you a haste breakpoint which I can't imagine it would, the staff will be better. Haste above the breakpoint is wasted, so the MH+OH has less spell power, less spirit, less mastery, and you gain some mostly useless haste and a small amount of intellect that is also basically worthless.

Using Rucati's numbers, replacing the staff with the MH+OH would give you:
    -165 stamina
    -30 intellect
    -324 spirit
    -1118 spell power
    -374 mastery
    +496 haste
    And one more socket.

So basically you lose out on bunch of stamina, spell power and secondary stats. I'm not entirely sure why you're even asking. When it comes to weapons, whichever one has the higher item level is usually better.
Diplomacy is just war by other means.

This isn't even a question of mh/oh vs stave; it's solely on ilvl difference. Your MH is 528 and the Staff is 540. Unless you have something like a heroic off hand, you won't get better results with the lower item level unless it is the only way you can reach a very important breakpoint (very unlikely)

    Use the staff.

    Alright that's everyone

WowHead has a really nice tool to compare things like that: www.wowhead.com/compare

Just add your item (top right), and then do another column with the mh+oh. You can set gems/enchants on all of them as well. I highly recommend it for the future.
