The EU would be up for joining the US in a major war against Russia and China? The EU has no reason at all to join the US in anything, never mind going to war, especially with Russia which basically provides the majority of EU's energy.

The US would receive very little support from Europe, even less from Japan or Korea.

Support in what? Remind me again what conflicts that 'Europe' has asked for the US support in? If Europe was a combined entity, as you seem to suggestion, there is no enemy that realistically exists, which would trouble it at all.

Imaginary enemies are an American construct, not a European one.
Dozen’s of countries in EU were involved in the Afghanistan War and are currently, the Iraq War. The EU ( NATO allies ) have full support of the US in a war. Hell, the US didn’t even have full say in starting the Afghanistan War. What imaginary world are you living in?

Libya. Two permanent UNSC members couldn't maintain a no-fly zone + light bombing campaign just across the Mediterranean. Luckily the US was able to step in and perpetuate the illusion of European power a little while longer.

The real world - you should try it, The US Orchestrated the Afghani war as an direct outlet for 11/9.

    Lol? Seriously. L. O. L.

We Canadians may not spend insanely more then we reasonably should like our south of the boarder neighbours on "defense", but we actually DO have our own Army, Navy and Airforce, and are quite capable of defending ourselves if needed. Please don't be so naieve as to assume that we are completely helpless without Big Brother America to back us in a fight.

He was implying that Canada is somehow completely helpless without the aid of the US. He pretty much claimed that the US military is somehow our main means of protecting ourselves.

It would be a very polite war.
