- I enjoy coding
- I enjoy gaming
- I was being paid to do that job
Just because you can't do something repetitive for 12 hours, it doesn't mean no one else can. You could argue it's not normal, but I'd then ask you to define what normal is.
I can manage around 15-17 hours straight without food or drink, it's just the way I am. An average day for me is waking up early afternoon (say 1PM), not having anything to eat until around 7PM, and then not having anything to eat until the early hours of the morning (say 2AM). Between 2AM and 7PM, I'll not eat anything. I might be asleep from 5AM until 1PM, but there's some times when I'll be unable to sleep at all and skip it entirely for a day. I have a cuppa when I wake up, but I keep drinks next to me. There's times when I only need to go to the toilet once or twice per day, usually when I wake up, and then again before I go to sleep. This means that there's no real reason I can't do long stretches of coding, gaming or something else. Most days that I work, I work from 4PM until 8PM. The shift fits perfectly with my fucked up sleep pattern. On those days, I won't eat until I get home at around 8:30PM.
Just yesterday, I was up at 7:30AM, and didn't go to sleep until 5AM this morning. 10AM until 8PM I was at work (that's the only long shift in the entire week), and when I got home, I started coding. I'd had only 6 hours sleep over the previous 2 days. I've got 3 days booked off work now (and I plan to get a lot of work done on my personal projects) so I don't have any real constraints regarding sleep, eating, drinking, etc. meaning that I can go for a super long coding or gaming session if I wish. On average, I'll spend around 8 hours at my own computer every day. On that 10-hour long shift, my body was running on caffeine and natural adrenaline and even though I'd only had a small amount of sleep (and not much to eat), I still didn't feel tired until around 3AM.
My longest record for being awake stands at 46 hours straight, and throughout most of that I was gaming. I hit 'the wall' 3 times and it was the 4th that finally defeated me, making me sleep for 18 hours as recovery.
TLDR: 12 hour sessions are nothing. Just because you pull one, it doesn't mean you're botting. You shouldn't be surprised if you get banned because that probably means you were botting, but just because someone farms for that long it doesn't make them a bot.

Every year, on average, 40 Europeans die in terrorist attacks. When you compare the policies and billions plown down into this number, you quickly discover that we should not be spending billions to fight terrorism, but to fight bathtubs. Over five times as many people drown in bathtubs every year.
