Thumbs up Warlords of Draenor: Playable Races?

So, let's assume Warlords of Draenor is the new expansion, let's assume blizzard does add two new playable races. What would they be? Ethreal? Arrakoa?

    Sexy Robots?

    Ogre for horde.
    Arakkoa for alliance.

  3. #3
    Ogre for the Horde.
    High Elves for the Alliance.

Ethereals don't show up until after Draenor goes snap crackle pop, iirc, so if there's a time-travel element I don't think they're a likely choice.
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.

Throw evil nurses in the mix, and im sold.

OT: I would guess that IF WoD is true, new races will be draenor natives. Im not sure etherals were there before ner'zhul blew it, so i wouldnt count them in. Other than that ogres, arrakoa, and even sporelings are possibility.

I'd be down for adding the arracoa to either factions. I don't think ogres will be a playable race, mainly because of the size difference between ogres and other playable races. Ethereals are an option. Don't know how they are going to handle transmog/reforge/voidstorage/item upgrades, though.

My wager, then, Arracoa for the horde, ethereals for the alliance.

    Naga for horde.
    Ethereals for alliance.

Ogre is inevitable at this point for the Horde.

I'm assuming it'll be Arrakoa for the Alliance just because High Elf cannot have a fancy new model if they're THE SAME AS BLOOD ELVES IN LORE.

Neither were on Draenor before it was destroyed.

I'm going to say no new races because of the Vanilla model updates.

I don't know about the races but I am really seeing some sub races for Orcs since Draenor is their home planet. (Right? I am not a lore expert but Orcs came from Draenor right?)

No new race demon hunters added

They can scale them down, just like they scaled Jaina up to be 2-3 times as tall as a player.

They'll most likely be new races that we haven't even seen before, as opposed to TBC races.

Horde will probably get some sort of Demonic race, while Alliance will probably get a race of people that did used to live on Draenor.

Anyway, Ogres for the Horde makes most sense. And for Alliance, I'd rather see either Arakkoa or Ethereals.

I never understood why people wanted High Elves? I mean, aren't they just Blood Elves but with blue eyes?

I wouldn't mind Satyr being playable, but something tells me we wont be seeing demonic races in WoW for some time. (By demonic, I mean things like Satyr, succubi, eredar ect)

Ogres, of course! They're native to Draenor and mesh so well with Orcs and Goblins alike.

I still wish the Goblin racial mount was an Ogre, just like the Alchemist from Warcraft III, haha.

I'm still really doubting we'll get any new races this go round, as they are already working on retooling the 8 original races.

It's very, very unlikely that we'll see new races this expansion IMO.
