radeon5770 vs gt640

Hello, I'm looking for advice.

I'm using sapphire hd 5770 1gb. I'm not a power gamer, I mainly play WoW so it serves my needs.

An acquaintance of mine is offering me the GV-N640OC-2GI in exchange for my 5770. Looking at the online comparisons I notice that the 640 is much more power efficient. What worries me tho, is the DDR3 ram on the 640 (as opposed to the GDDR5 on the 5770 I currently have.) Should I take the deal or should I pass?

Don't do it. The 640 will save you something like 40 watts but is by no means the faster card of the two.

You'd be trading down unless you're hard pressed to save a dollar every month.
