theres a difference between a mod and an actual game.

heroes of the storm has its own cannon, its not cannon to the other games but that doesnt mean these arent the same characters.

You still can't say 'Anub'arak was in DOTA' when it's an alternate universe using the character's model and name, and nothing else. That's not really Anub'Arak, that's someone using a hero with the same name, not the actual character.

Yeah, i agree i would also like to see the Thunder King and the Sha of Fear (i know the Sha of Pride is the strongest, but we dealt more with the Sha of Fear so i prefer him)

Does anyone know if this game is going to be aimed more at "casual" players? I tried to get into DOTA 2 but simply don't have the time to make any meaningful progress with it.

Yes, the matches will be shorter than Dota (something like LoL) and will be easier to learn (like LoL) and hard to become a Pro in it

I'm definitely seeing issues with people confusing the two HoTS-es... Heart of the Swarm and Heroes of the Storm. Sounds incredibly similar o_O
