DW 528 VS 2h 540

Recently ran through flex 1, and obtained http://www.wowhead.com/item=104732/g...of-prides-fall

Would it be a better choice to go 2H, until I get my hands on 540+ 1H's? Or stick with DW?

At that level personally I would stick with dw unless you can afford to regem and reforge twice... My DK is my alt so I wouldn't but otherwise it probably is worth it in terms of pure dps. Then again you lose some aoe damage by going 2h which a lot of fights rely on. Up to you though, more single target or less aoe. I'm not an expert though so take it how you will.

Use something like ReforgeLite/AMR to get the correct stat values without reforging then run that versus your current setup using Sim Craft (you can manually edit stat values on profiles). Reasonably quick and easy way to test for differences in setup.

Go with personal preference imho -

If you've got spare gold to regem/reforge/rechant and you're using a fully upgraded 548 vs the 536s. The 2H would be slightly better.

If you really really enjoy DW though and don't care about a few % increase in dps stick with that for now.
