    I don't get it?

That doesn't give away anything. Doesn't say if its WoW, Hearthstone, or anything.

Opening ceremonies are historically free and you're posting in a forum called "World of Warcraft >> Warlords of Draenor".

    Just pointing that out.

Is it even possible to say it's not Expansion V now?

I'd play WoD for free. I'd play WoD for just the $40 box price. I won't play WoD for $40 + $15/month.
    It's the content, stupid.

    I didn't see anything either

I hope they get new announcers this time. That woman last year was god awful and knew absolutely nothing about the game. It was painfully obvious when she was trying to hold a dialogue with anyone who was talking in depth about the game.

    IRC.

Look on the front page for how to get to it.

I don't see what you are referring to, to be honest. Could somebody help?
The new box art for Blizzard's upcoming game; Overwatch!

confirmation bias. It is entirely possible to say there lies a chance it isn't WoD. Grasping at straws for verification based on a title that doesn't confirm it is WoW related and isn't a title placed there by anyone official.

There is still a chance it is TDB. There is still a chance it is something entirely different. There is a chance it could release this year. There is a chance it is time travel based, there is a chance it isn't.

Lots of possibilities Slowpoke, take a deep breath and calm your nerves

As with every BlizzCon, the community-ran IRC chat channel to discuss all things BlizzCon is back again for this years edition!
    No, it isn't.

Just noticed, Blizz only streams at 720p lol c'mon Blizz!!! 1080; >_>

This is the chat that is being referred to:
    http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...downs-and-chat
    http://blizzcon.marlamin.com/chat

It is a community-run chat and is not officially sanctioned or sponsored by Blizzard. The tagline at the top of the chat window itself, once you log in, is not anything official from Blizzard. It's as "official" as us having created a forum for WoD discussion.

The IRC isn't sponsored by or affiliated with Blizzard, so this confirms nothing.

According to http://eu.battle.net/blizzcon/en/live-stream/ WoD announcement on the main stage will require the virtual ticket.
However, it also says "Free opening ceremony and full tournament coverage viewable on the WoW Stage and RTS Stage channels."

From what I understand, WoD announcement will be on the main stage, during the "WoW, what's next" panel and this will require a ticket.
I have enough of EA ruining great franchises and studios, forcing DRM and Origin on their games, releasing incomplete games only to sell day-1 DLCs or spill dozens of DLCs, and then saying it, and microtransactions, is what players want, stopping players from giving EA games poor reviews, as well as deflecting complaints with cheap PR tricks.

I'm not going to buy any game by EA as long as they continue those practices.

If I'm not mistaken, expansion announcements have generally happened during the opening ceremony. The event called "World of Warcraft: What's Next" is most likely named as such because they obviously couldn't publish it as "World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Features."
