    Help with grid please

Heya guys, I recently rolled resto and am trying to setup grid but i'm rather new to the addon. A lot of the guides/profiles i've found are over a year old and just don't seem to work anymore so if someone could point me in the direction of an up to date profile/guide that would be much appretiated, thanks .

These are what I use - pay most concern to the first link.

    Grid is simple:
Indicators tab you choose what you want to show where. Corners put a colored square. Icons and text do just that. Select with a check-mark the auras you would want to have. For instance, top left corner is solely for lifebloom, bottom left is solely for rejuv, bottom right is solely for wild growth.
Status tab you can customize and create new auras. You can change color (grid status hots has 3 different indicators for different times left). You can also set priority, in case there are multiple things trying to be placed in a spot.. however for my hots that is all I use - center icon is the only relevant thing to me for this feature.
You can also add your own buffs/debuffs to track by just typing the name in.

or, you know, you could just download grid2, it has all these sub-addons already inside it and is much more intuitive and customizable from the get go

all those addons can be put in manually too, except for the side icons.

currently using the grid UI and manually inserting the things.
Using rejuvenation for center icon with less prio than debuffs and such, then I use top icon for lifebloom, left icon for regrowth and bottom for wild growth, then I use right icon for fight specific icons.

You can't get the complete customization as status hots by manually adding - plus why would you want to manually add everything anyways?

Grid2 apparently does do most of this with some extra elbow grease on setting it up.. so I'll be trying that out this weekend ^.^.

Status hots has customization for changing colors for the indicators based on time remaining - to give a rough idea of time left on hots without needing a hot timer cluttering the screen. This is available in Grid2 but not in Grid (unless it's hidden extremely well) by default.

It's irrelevant though because Grid2 is now better than Grid from initial looks. Used to be a junk addon the last time I looked at it like 8 months ago or something.

I've always loved this set up, and is the one I currently use still -

You just need to make sure to get all the extra grid addons (like the ones listed already)

Grid2 doesn't show malkorok shields as a % of completion - I am disappoint and back to Grid.

I see a lot of people using Vuhdo also and like it better than grid so you can try that.
