Nobody missing something on the Draenor map?......

Like, for example, Deathwing's Lair? Looks like the "father and son" idea isn't coming to WoD after all, and Wrathion probably remains on the background till the Legion actually comes.

Oh and before you say it; the little island that actually is there above Tanaan Jungle, it's a PVP isle.

Ashran, the PVP zone (the island to the east of Tanaan Jungle) is Deathwing's Lair (or rather the island where it would be, if Deathwing had been present).

You know this is like, pre-Dark Portal? So, how would Deathwing even have gotten there to build said lair in the first place?

Since Deathwing didn't cross over until after the orcs invaded, I wouldn't expect him to have a lair on pre-Legion Draenor. Could be that PVP isle is where he would set up his lair, if events played out as they did originally.

So... is Deathwing going to be there?

Ashran IS his lair, but WoD takes place before Deathwing went through to portal. Before the Orcs invaded Azroth.

    Space flight?

What I am more curious about, is how they're gonna implement Netherstorm in a future patch. Does it just float around in space and suddenly latch onto Draenor at some point or what's up with that.

Could be that they will do the same with Deathwings Lair, throw it in after a few patches. Afterall, Blizzard works in mysterious ways, so mysterious that even God can't compete.

Remember though he went back in time and changed it, so that could have been one of the things altered in the world with how ever Garrosh does that.

A lot of people are confused about lore and all that. Deathwing hasn't gone through the Dark Portal in this "timeline", there for his "lair" is technically there, but it'll be a place for Alliance and Horde to smash each other's heads in.

The mass of land that is what we know as Netherstorm is already on the map, unlabeled (top right). It will be revealed in a future patch, but will not be called Netherstorm.

Different timeline, Deathwing has no access to Draenor since the Dark Portal isn't open. If the Portal opens sometime during the expansion he obviously can't come though from our time because he's dead in our timeline.

In the map in the original post above, you can see Netherstorm on the new map. Before Draenor is destroyed it's known as Farahlon, however. Not Netherstorm.

No it isn't. Deathwings lair is further East. According to this map, http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__...raenor_map.jpg

Ashran would be the island labeled Warsong Clan...

You are not your role. You are not how much gold you have on your account.
You are not the mount you ride. You are not the contents of your bank.
You are not your epic purples. You are not a special and unique snowflake.
You are the all-grinding, all-farming crap of Azeroth.

Red shirt guy question is irrelevant here. He was talking about Azeroth, not Draenor, and the devs' reaction to this clearly showed they thought he was overthinking it.

Plus, Boubouille didn't retranscribe the answer correctly, as it was first stated that it was because of atmospheric movements dued to the maelstrom

Isn't Dun Morogh in the equatorial zone?

They specifically said that Ashran is the island that was previously labelled "Deathwing's Lair." It was in the Adventure Continues panel.

Ah that clears things up a bit. Meanwhile during the night I also did some more reading up on this time-travel thing, and I understand now that it's not so much time-travel as it is inter-dimension travel. I already wondered how they wanted to explain Ner'zhul's death
