Burning legion expansion all but confirmed for after WoD?

I hate to jump so far ahead here but thought i'd just make a point of this.

They said the conclusion of WoD would lead pretty heavily into the next expansion.

Given the whole orc corruption thing, Grom, and the lack of mention of Gul'Dan i'd be pretty shocked if it didn't directly lead into the burning legion expac.

It'd feel weird the orcs story spilling into Azshara/N'zoth and they all but destroyed the idea of an Emerald Dream expac

WOD may be shorter as well, as next year's blizzcon was confirmed and the next expansion announcement has been the selling point for most people, so there should be one then too, so soon after WOD's release.

OT : Its possible, why not I suppose. I feel like this expansion is going to build up to something freaking amazing for the 10th anniversary. I'm really excited for WoD but I think that whatever comes next will be insanely epic...at least it better be.

You have absolutely no clue about that. They said he was, so that's all we have to go by.

It's not unthinkable that they were joking, but there was nothing obvious about it being a joke either. No smiles, no funny tone of voice - just a straight and plain answer.

I would say yes. Remember Kel'thuzad's final words ( from phylacterium) when you defeated him back in Vanilla? He indeed ultimately returned, but not in the next xpac (which was BC) but in the later one. Wratchion's speeches about incoming threat are similar - they tell about Burning Legion, but as we know now it doesn't speak happen in this xpac. Very likely, it will be the next one though.

I'll just keep saying it, I know I'm not the only one, but some people are just not getting it I fear. This is most likely a burning legion xpac. Here are your clues:

1. Panel said in WOD timeline Guldan already drank the blood. This means Kiljaeden is in draenor, trying to get the orcs to join the burning legion.

2. When Burning Legion attacked last time, who went through the portal? Demons? No it was orcs. So an orc army coming through the portal is exactly what Sargeras wants, right? So who would benefit from tricking our friend Garrosh into sending orcs through the portal again?

3. They said the final boss is not an orc. They won't tell us who it is because... spoiler. What would they be spoiling? That the final boss is who you expect it to be? Some guy in the bronze dragonflight? Not likely. Who's behind this madness, that's what you should be asking.

4. They said today wrathion plays a tiny part in this expansion so it's not him.

5. What other bad guys are there that it could be? Who was behind vanilla's last boss: Burning Legion. Who was behind BC final boss: Burning Legion. Who was behind wrath's final boss: Burning Legion. Who was behind Cat final boss: Old God. Almost all big bosses are either Legion or Old god minions. So guessing that the final boss in WOD is either Legion or Old God minion is like a sure bet.

I know I don't have proof, but come on guys, you can figure this out can't you? It's so obvious. Even if it's the bronze dragonflight or some member of the bronze dragonflight, wouldn't it make sense that he's a pawn of the Burning Legion?

Well, feel free to disagree, or call it speculation. At this point I can't argue it. And if you meant this isn't the expansion where we fight the burning legion for the last time, well... of course it is not that expansion. No one really thought we'd be killing Sargeras yet did they?

I'm not sure what you mean, I watched a panel where they said the final boss was not an orc.

Draneor was just ANOTHER mere setback, if you want the true orcish horde, you have to make it by yourself... and then Garrosh went to the future where he clone himself and the next expansion will be called ''The clone wars''

i will say that its almost sure that the next expansion will be about the Legion, because Kil'jaeden wants to kill Velen, and if the orcs can't make the dirty work for him he will go and try to kill velen himself.

Nah I'm guessing a Dark Below-esque expansion, and then legion. Legion is heavily associated with Draenor so I don't see it following.
