Dude, I challenge you to show me a single CREDIBLE source that says there is anything close to not enough food to support the worlds population. Or even projected populations figures for years to come.

Personally, I actually do believe it exists already, and it is a problem that no one wants to accept or talk about because there is no easy solution. Besides that I would solve overpopulation in America much the way China has. People would have to apply for a license and have it approved to have a child. If they do not follow these rules, then they would suffer heavy fines and possible jail time. Repeat offenders would get progressively longer incarceration times.
I would eliminate the weak unsuccessful males. And then put in breeding policies.

It causes great amounts of bribery when families try to legalize their extra children, and give them documents (so that they can go to school and find work).
Yep, plenty of space and near inhospitable freezing temperatures. Most people will not want to move there. It's a last resort for most.

Jesus the more you post the more you look like an idiot. Do some fucking research, america isn't even close to having used all its land.

And right now there's so much extra food that a good portion of it expires before it gets eaten. And that's without even trying.

Not to mention how fucked their economy is going to be in a few decades when there are 2-3x the number of seniors as people in the workforce.

That would definitely cut down on the web traffic around here...

Just because we don't hand it out, doesn't mean there isn't a ridiculous surplus. That's an entirely separate problem.

If we wanted to feed the homeless we easily could, if we wanted to house the homeless, we easily could.

It's just idiots who penny pinch and don't want to fund programs that work.

You realize of course that neither of those two demographics are starving because of a lack of resources?

Are you fucking daft? You asked about the U.S. SPECIFICALLY. The U.S. is very very far from overpopulated.

You mean that ones that are taken up by farm land? Okay you have a point the use has lots of room for people...but only if we want to build housing tracks where our crops are.

World hunger is a logistical problem, not a production problem.

It's not clear? That's the price of food increasing in the US.

That has nothing to do with lack of production.
