    Replacing my graphic card

My graphic card broke down recently and I've come here to look for opinions if it's worth upgrading or ordering the same one again. The old one I used was GeForce GTX 560 Ti.

Sorry if any relevant information is missing it's been a while since I asked for help with my computer stuff let me know and I will look for it.

I'm looking for something that can play 25 man raids at ultra and able to run new games at decent settnings. My budget is around 4000 kr (~450 euro)

    Motherboard - GA-Z68X-UD4-B3
    RAM - 8gb
    Processor - Intel Core i5-2500k
    1920 x 1080 resolution

    Thanks in advance

Have you overclocked the CPU? That would give a great boost in raids & populated cities.
If you're running on a stock heatsink then replace it with the item below and you should be able to do a 4.5GHz overclock easily.

Is WoW the only game you play?
If you get a GTX 770 you get 3 AAA games.
    - Assassin's Creed IV, Splinter Cell, Batman Arkham Origins

I'm a bit anxious about overclocking since I'm such a computer novice.

I've googled a bit before coming here and a topic that came up often is how graphic cards can be throttled by other parts of your machine. I'm wondering if that's going to be a problem with the GTX 770? I play a few other games but not the very demanding types like battlefield etc. Mostly strategy games like Civilization or RTS games,

It's easier than you might think, i'll try to explain in steps.

    - Go into BIOS.

    - Under "CPU Vcore" change settings to 1.250.
    Looks like this: http://images.bit-tech.net/content_i...ud4-bios10.jpg

    - Change "CPU Clock ratio to 4.4 for a safe overclock.
Should look like this : http://images.bit-tech.net/content_i...-ud4-bios3.jpg

    Complete guide : http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpu...ore-i5-2500k/4

Theres also not gonna be any problems with throttle which we call "bottlenecking" by pairing a GTX 770 with a 2500K, which is a perfectly balanced setup.

With the release of the next expansion the graphics requirements will increase and I would take a 770 just to have no regrets.
