Looking for feedback on new build.

    edit: updated

What do you guys think? I'm buying everything locally at a microcenter and I'm a bit limited on what they have in stock but they're pretty good about keeping up with their stock.

Can I ask why you're paying $180 on a case, when you can get suitably equal/better cases for under half that price from Micrcenter? I'd also recommend against the 4770k unless you do moderate rendering or intend to play BF4 on the highest settings. You can go for the 4670k, and put the savings into an SSD, like so:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake CLP0607 99.1 CFM CPU Cooler ($47.99 @ Newegg)
    Motherboard: Asus Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($139.99 @ SuperBiiz)
    Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($87.32 @ NCIX US)
    Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($174.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ Microcenter)
    Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card ($326.13 @ Newegg)
Case: Corsair 300R ATX Mid Tower Case ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: PC Power & Cooling Silencer MK III 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($77.99 @ Microcenter)
    Total: $1204.38

I have a hard time liking like the look of simple black mid or full tower cases, I'd prefer having a window. The Corsair 300R is an example of a case I don't like the look of, the Cosair cases with windows end up falling in the above $100 price range as well. The 350d has one and is under 100, but I really don't like the flat front.

I actually do play BF4 and would love to max it out. I also work with Maya and 3d rendering, being a student animator. Thanks for adding the ssd, that's something that I forgot.

With your updated build, and considering you're using Maya, then I'd suggest getting 16GB of a higher clockspeed RAM like this.
