What I was more curious about is whether or not we lose our original minion (ie. felguard) or we get to have both out. Don't think I've read that anywhere.
    it's a fair point
I think people are assuming the DServ will replace not add, but the tooltip is ambiguous.

i think it is highly unlikely that we will get two Pets. All pet-classes can only only have 1 Pet at a time + any number of minions.
There is no way in the interface to control two pets (for example how would you macro something like /petattack ?) You always only get 1 Pet.

The language of the talent as it appeared at Blizzcon seemed to imply a substitution, not a simple addition of new spells. All anyone can do right now is guess, but the wording chosen plus my general "feel" for how the game plays and how I would implement such a talent leads me to believe that Demonic Servitude replaces the 10 minute cooldowns with Summon Doomguard and Summon Infernal (permanent versions, which are grouped in with Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, Felhunter, and Felguard).

Demonology warlocks can't summon a permanent Felguard + one of the four core pets, so I'm pretty sure that a warlock with Demonic Servitude won't be able to have, for example, a permanent felguard and doomguard active at once.

This does seem to make the talent weaker for Demonology, as we are essentially replacing a specialization spell with a talent. However, Demonology derives more of its damage from pets, so maybe a Master Demonology-buffed Doomguard/Infernal would be worth giving up a Felguard in some situations. I imagine that a Felguard would still have PvP or burst AoE advantages over the new pets in some cases, but who knows at this point?

Funny how things can flip, eh ... Doomguard as perma pet and Felguard as a cooldown ... haha what times we live in
