    Help with "Upgrade"

    Hey there,
I decided to upgrade my PC, due to Laggs in WoW.
What I'm running with is a
    I7 920@2.67GHz,
    6GB Ram @ 1033
    Asus P6T MoBo
    GeForce GTX 650Ti
    1080p Resolution

Now, what I want to change is MoBo, RAM and CPU (and maybe the power unit), because I think that my GPU should handle the 25man raiding and my case and my HDD works fine (thinking of an SSD when the "big" things are in the case).
And I'm a poor student, so I wanted to invest around 600-700€ (better would be 600 ofc , I'm from Germany btw, if you want to post some links), BUT i want to use "Ultra" settings and want to be prepared for the WoD expansion.

Hopefully you can help me out with that.
    Thanks in advice.

What gives your processor a big boost in WoW FPS is overclocking it. Just buy a decent cooler such as this and ~3.5GHz should be easily achievable.

This looks about right. You'll probably also need a new power supply, dependent on what you have at the moment. If you need one, try this one.

EDIT: that's if you want to - looz is right - a quality cooler will help you as well.

So the "Upgrade Kit" looks good, but on the other hand there is the OC value, but i feel like I'm not prepared for Warlords of Draenor if I just OC my PC now, because of right now I run with like 5-25 FPS in 25 man raids (depending on fight).

Well, for the record I have the same CPU running at 3.6GHz. I find it still works rather well for WoW.

I did the last wing of LFR SoO today on ultra, including shadows. My GPU is 660 Ti, and like I mentioned before I got the same CPU as you but overclocked.

    My FPS didn't go below 30fps, here's a combat screenshot: http://l00z.pp.fi/s/i/201311/1384298518.jpg

An i7 920 is far from optimal and shouldn't be considered keeping for the future if OP is willing to upgrade, it's incredibly far behind current technology. Current gen single core performance on Haswell is nearly 100% faster. Hell, even an 8350 beats it by a decent margin.

As for your screenshot, that's nice. But you wouldn't be pulling that FPS in more demanding fights / AOE / high particle effect phases.

So yeah, LFR is not the problem. It's the Heroic Raid on Bosses like Malkorok. On the start of the Fight, my FPS drops to like 5-8 where all heal zones etc are in. In LFR i have 30-40 too, because the most people don't know how to use they skills right (but thats an other topic).

I looked on Caseking now, for a quick price overview and man thats a lot of more money compared to the 4670k
