I've recently done some research and I think those are the best (at their price point) currently available:
    Eizo EV2436W
    Samsung S24A850DW
    Dell U2413
    HP Z24i
    BenQ BL2411PT

They all provide those three key features:
    1. 1920x1200 @ 24" - for the comfortable pixel size and aspect ratio
    2. IPS (or PLS in case of Samsung) - for great colors and viewing angles
    3. flicker-free backlight - for health reasons

Of course, the importance of those factors is just my personal opinion, it does not apply to everyone.

You're welcome. With the PB238Q you're getting a true 8-bit, 16:9 panel. A lot of the other IPS around the same price level and size is 6-bit (e-IPS) which results in worse color accuracy and quality, closer to TN quality. The panel is also height, pivot and swivel adjustable and a great selection of cables and extras.
