Well when you go diving you can't go below certain depths without specialised gear due to pressure differences fucking you up internally. Why would it be any different having a low pressure from a high pressure? If by some miracle you can protect the pressure barrier then you'll be ok, but you can't - certainly not for very long. Once that pressure is allowed to drop, the liquid will become a gas. Your blood vessels would explode, no? If an atheroma can do it I'm sure bubbles of gas will manage.
