So if Tempest Keep was able to travel through alternate realities, it's not far-fetched to assume that the Naaru and the Draenei, and therefore the Eredar, are actually from an alternate reality. And if the Burning Legion followed them all these thousands of years, they might be, too.
Tempest Keep brought the Naaru to Draenor after it had been ripped apart by the opening of the portals to other worlds by Ner'zhul.
The Draenei came to Draenor on the Oshu'gun ship which was also a Dimensional Ship.

    So it is possible.

    uhm
we always knew that the Tempest Keep was a dimensional ship and we always knew that the BL existed in a different dimension.

    this is not new

A 2006 quote... explaining the fact that Tempest Keep is an interdimensional fortress...

Why is this even an issue 7 years later? Yes, Tempest Keep can jump realities, it's how the Naaru got to Outland in the first place.

The Great Darkness Beyond and the Twisting Nether are two different dimensions/realities, like the Emerald Dream and the Elemental Planes are. The Draenei are from Argus, which is a planet on the Great Darkness Beyond.

But this has NOTHING to do with the "different timelines". That's a completely other subject.

So, these reality-jumping ships could theoretically travel between the Warcraft and Starcraft universe?

But our Azeroth isn't. And the Titans that shaped it aren't. Which means Sargeras isn't. Which in turn means that the Burning Legion also can't be.

So you want to share that real life experience you have with those things?

Blizzard is reeeeeeally struggling with lore these days. It really shouldn't be that hard.

Not different timelines. Alternate realities. It would mean that the Draenei might not exist in our reality, that Argus, the Draenei and the Burning Legion are not from our reality, but from a different from. If the Draenei used a ship that was able to travel through alternate realities, used that ship to flee from the Legion, then it is possible that the Legion followed them through all those alternate realties until they landed in ours.

Please note, it's a tinfoil hat edition, which is just Stickney's outlet for wild speculation for fun.

Though again, Prince Malchazaar does say all realities are open to him.

The Sargeras who became corrupted could be from an alternate reality, while our Sargeras is still uncorrupted.

The Great Darkness Beyond is, on other words, the outer space.

You are messing things up. Alternate realities are not alternate timelines. The Emerald Dream is an alternate reality of Azeroth, the Twisting Nether of the Great Darkness Beyond. There aren't multiple Sargeras based on realities.

According to my real life experience (with fictional media) it's possible for the same person to exist in alternate realities (parallel universes).

First, fiction is not real life experience...

Second, alternate realities are different dimension in Warcraft lore. Parallel universes are the alternate timelines.

Honestly I think "dimensional ship" is just a buzzword. The "dimensions" being visited are probably just like warp space, but for Warcraft. Ultimately the ships are just a way to get from A to B.

If not, however, then this gives whole new meaning to Prince Malchezaar's declaration that "All realities, all dimensions are open to me!"

people use the word 'dimension' rather willy nilly

there are different ways to use dimension, personally i think dimension should simply mean any measurable scale such as of distance or time,,, A Dimensional ship that travels only in 3 spacial dimensions is still a dimensional ship, is it not?

but since we aren't using it that way, dimension and alternate reality can mean the same thing; but sometimes a dimension is a continuum of multiple related timelines or realities , and different dimensions are comepletely independent of eachother
