Never put people in a position where they have power over me in any way,shape or form.

Same pretty much, but still, the "betrayed" part might be true. Nothing special but as kids I'm sure we all had crap from our "friends".
Other than that, I really don't bow to anyone and if I see someone trying something, I will just tell them "nope, not today" and walk away.
