    Grom =/= Garrosh....

I know its not a big deal. And I'm sorry for the fuss.

Grommash "Grom" Hellscream is the former leader of the Warsong clan, he had many victories to his name in the conflict on Draenor, the First and Third wars, notable ones including besting Nobundo at Shattarath and Cenarius at the foot of Hyjal among many others. He died giving his life to kill Mannoroth and end the corruption over his people once and for all. In the upcoming WoD expansion, an alternative version of him will be one of the Warlords.

Garrosh Hellscream is his son, a sickly whiny bitch who grew up on Draenor during the three wars, brought to Azeroth during the end of the Burning Crusade/start of the Litch Kings rise to power. He subsequently earned a place in the horde, eventually being named Warcheif leading the horde to the current situation it is in, and it is he that will be going back in time to cause the WoD crisis.

They are not the same person, stop using their names interchangeably.

I know alot of people will be like "duuuhhh" - but I'm just tired of people mixing up their names is all.

    Again, sorry for the fuss.

I honestly don't get why anyone would want to put the two in the same light, just because garrosh is groms son.

When you take serious stock of the fact, Grom was infact quite the victorious leader of his kind, in the bloody hell he lead them on, he fought and killed just about everything he stood against, and even in his dying battle took down the demon that dammed him and his kind. This is why he is known as one of the most badass orcs to have lived, even if he commited some pretty fucked up mistakes, literally nothing except death could stop him.

Garrosh.. has none of these qualities, yet he tried desperately to emulate his father. Garrosh never stood against armies of enemies alone, he never had stood his ground against foes without others to cover his back, and even carry him to safety when things got rough. And in his single minded, idiotic madness, he thought by simply ignoring demonic magic, he could get away with using anything else for power, even the heart of an old god, systematically something far worse then anything Grom ever did.

He also cast aside his own legacy, when he threw his fathers axe aside for the power the heart promised him. He's a disgusting wretch of a character, disgracing his fathers name.. Even Arthas, in all the evil he did and had become, still held some shred inside himself in the end, as his father's spirit cradled him.

Grom is brown skinned; Garrosh is brown skinned.

Grom wields Gorehowl; Garrosh weilds Gorehowl.

Grom leads a Horde; Garrosh leads a Horde.

Grom has no magic powers; Garrosh has no magic powers.

Grom cannot steal your soul, drive you insane, or command endless armies of the Legion; Neither can Garrosh.

To be perfectly honest we are getting Garrosh 2.0 if we face off against Grommash. It is my hope that History will repeat itself and Ner'zul, Gul'dan and possibly Kargoth will end up destroying the Iron Horde from within and we end up siding with the members of this Horde that are not batshit insanely evil.

Also Grom was getting his ass kicked by Cenarius before he was backed into a corner. That is when he and his armies foolishly drank the Blood of Mannoroth that was deliberately left out in the open.

In short he got his ass kicked, fell into the world's most obvious trap, doubled the legions forces, put the entire counter attack on the legion in jeopardy, got rescued by the same people he was killing a second ago and Thrall, then gets a lucky with a single well placed Axe strike on Mannoroth's chest. In my book that isn't a hero, that's more of a screwup with a good publicist.

No disagreement Garrosh is a horrible person with an insanely twisted view of honor that ended up being worse than Grom and his demon blood problem. But his battle capability was potent without a doubt. He battles by our side against Alliance, when we clear the island in Krasarang for the new base, and later on in the questline he mows through quite a many mogu warriors to reach us and a mogu leader who's about to make us their bitch and subsequently one-shots him with a Heroic Throw. He also defeated Taran Zhu and Thrall each in a one on one match. Grom would likely beat him, but Garrosh is by no means weak when it comes to combat. Compare to, say, Vol'jin, who got one-shotted by a Kor'kron goomba, while staring straight at him and being vary of his ill intentions.
Now you see it. Now you don't.

    Bolded for hilarity.
It's going to an alternate universe and then using time travel. A clearly bold and defined difference from normal time travel.

What this means is they can fuck off with all the lore they want without having to conform with what is already cannon *sarcastic laugh*
There are no worse scum in this world than fascists, rebels and political hypocrites.
Donald Trump is only like Hitler because of the fact he's losing this war on all fronts.
Apparently condemning a fascist ideology is the same as being fascist. And who the fuck are you to say I can't be fascist against fascist ideologies?

Grom wasn't a hero. He did terrible shit for the horde and made stupid mistakes again, and again, and again. He never learned anything. Honestly him and Garrosh are exactly the same in character, doing anything for power because they think power is all that matters. The only difference is Grom died immediately after getting the killing blow on Mannoroth, so they like to sing songs about him and shit. But hey, the orcs don't have any real heroes to kinda look up to aside from thrall, so they just try really hard to make Grom into one just so they have an outlet for their hero worship. Happens in the real world too.

If grom had survived the battle with mannoroth, you can bet your ass he would've flipped his shit and started selling out the horde or trying to corrupt them again at some point down the road. People like that never learn and they don't change. Him dying to manno was a good thing for the horde.
I like ponies and I really don't care what you have to say about that.

LOL, just because you don't like a character doesn't make it any different! Grom and Garrosh are both Great Warriors, Proud Orcs who wanted Power for their people! Don't make Grommash sound like a God and Garrosh like a bitch, just because some people hate everything that's not American Super Hero all good guy and actually has a REAL Gray side like real person.

And please, read some lore before posting, I'm tired of all these people who talk non stop how different they are, yet they are almost exactly the same!

People hate Garrosh and not Grom, just because Grom at the end agreed with Thrall, but throughout his life, hell, even throughout WarCraft 3 he disagreed with Thrall and was like Garrosh is now. Thrall was cool in WarCraft 3, but he became the most LAME WarCraft character, yes, even lamer than Med'an. He's just too damn super hero, it's like a story made for 4 year old girl with him.

This. He isn't comparing who is the better man. He is literally comparing them and stating that they are two different beings. People are getting mixed up calling Garrosh Grommash and vice versa

Pretty much this. It's a side effect when you have a lead writer (I'm looking at you Metzen) that loves a single character and cannot progress any of his other characters without making his main character a god or his other characters giant bitches. In this case, it's both and it's happened twice now with both Grom and Garrosh in relation to daddy Thrall.

Basically preschool writing but in the form of a multi-billion dollar franchise which is also a side effect of half the company being drunk on the job (Yes this is actually a thing.)

The only real difference between the 2 was that Garrosh was warchief and didn't have to answer to anyone.
