    Time for a new build

    Thoughts?

I already own the video card and the SSD.
Video card will be upgraded to a SLI config most likely within a year.

CPU- I would change not only to an i7 due to the video/graphics works and streaming, but also to 4th generation Haswell (4770K). The sockets are not backwards compatible, so wih your CPU & mobo, you're leaving yourself no opportunity to upgrade in the future. That socket is basically at the end of its life cycle.

Mobo- Need socket 1150 for Haswell processor.

RAM- 16GB you probably won't need 16GB, can probably get away with only 8. That said, some are saying that current FPS games are able to utilize more than 8gb, so who knows.

Case is fine, but I would at least suggest you look at the Fractal Design R4, White w/ window. It's on sale right now and could save you some cash, and also a great case. just a thought.

PSU- The one you have is fine, but the Rosewill Capstone is on sale right now, and you can get 80+ Gold for 4 dollars more than the Corsair you picked out. Also, the Capstone is an excellent PSU.

After all is said and done, this is what it would look like after the changes.

This is not including the SSD and GPU you already have.
