Doesn't Power Strikes already turn excess chi into chi spheres, and nobody really uses that even when they take it, it's taken for the extra chi generation.

Could be something like "mana sphere absorbs and stores x ammount of healing as mana. Upon ending this mana is released to players". Could be made so the mana goes to players marked to healers. Could last indefinitely and only release the mana when players decide to destroy it or it could just release the mana after x ammount of time.

Similair to mana void that Yorshaj uses in Dragon soul.

It could work if it was given a cooldown and functioned as essentially a ground placed innervate, though I don't know if it is really needed.
