What I really wanna know is when we can mail across factions, it'd make organizing PvP events sooo much easier, plus giving gyphs to your new alts would help.

Probably never, though I do believe you can currently send BoA gear cross-faction on the same realm.

It's on the PTR, as in, we don't know. There's no word on when it will happen.
