hardly the stuff to make a war, much less one between two countries that are basically connected at the hip at this point.

China has neither the naval nor air might to go to war with Japan, much less Japan with America protecting them, as they are required to do by the treaties signed after WW2.

All the companies that use China as a cheap manufacturing place (read: slave labor) would just move to other parts of Asia or South America, China's economy would be devastated, and that is before their infrastructure gets reduced to a pile of scrap by US weapons.

The US would end up paying more for lead filled knick-knacks until the factories and shipping at wherever the multinational corporations moved their facilities too get up and running.

China has everything to lose and nothing to gain. Chinas politicians are far too smart to pursue anything like that at this time.

China's politicians are too smart to go to war. Why would you devastate a partnership that has not only solidified your legitimacy, but has grown your country? (regardless of how you feel of their control, and other economic trends)

Anyone who thinks war with China is imminent is a fool.

Not really. China has no force projection capability and most of their population along with infrastructure is on the coast, well within the range of the USS weapons. It would be the political and economic backlash on the US that prevents it right now, since there is literally nothing to gain.

China's political interests lay in expanding its economic power and influence; the state takes active measures to protect its economic interests as its highest active priority. The primary interest in the US is in maintaining political power, ie running for elections and the continuity of ones status. Neither of these are conducive for starting an all out war, as China has very beneficial economic relations with the US and there isn't an overwhelming amount of Americans calling for war.

Full on battle insues - 22 year world war
Due to Canada's small forces involved in the war, and strong natural energy reserves they end up being the only remaining superpower post war.
US and Russian economy so shot no choice to be absorbed by Canada, Renamed South Canada and East Canada respectively.
South eastern Asia economy collapses aswell, but with no remaining power in the area they fall into a state of collapses that makes today's South Africa look like Disney land.
African nations form a collation with middle east, for UE, United East - a new super collation.
Eventually energy reserves in the remaining powers force them to fight over South America and SE asia's remaining resources.
Stage set for WW4, the one that ends humanity as we know it.
Both sides turn to bioengineering, canada breeds a race of quickly multiplying, super aggressive flying beavers. Theses multiply by the trillions and zerg into the southern hemisphere. The UE in turn combines the beavers three only known predator, lions, tigers and bears. Creates large, 2 story tall hyper intelligent Tibearions.

No human survives, after a bloody millennium of fighting between these two super species the Tibearions eventually escape the surly bonds of earth and travel to the stars. The beavers consume all biological matter on the planet, forcing their species to collapse to manageable numbers and an extreme form of hibernation, where they slumber, waiting for their chance to consume again.
You play way to many videogames. The age of world wars is over, it will never happen again.

Besides that, your theory has a lot of errors: China and Russia will never ever possibly be allies.
Africa and the arabian world will never ever work together.
Mexico will never ever side with China when that would mean war with the USA.

You overestimate the power of China. They have 0 allies in the region, except for Vietnam to some extent. Every single other country with whom they share borders have disputes with China. Their expense in terms of warcraft might be growing, but they're still outdated.

A lot is needed for a full on war between states to happen. There may be disputes, there may even be attacks, but full on wars are going to be extremely rare in this century.

"This is no swaggering askari, no Idi Amin Dada, heavyweight boxing champion of the King's African Rifles, nor some wide shouldered, medal-strewn Nigerian general. This is an altogether more dangerous dictator - an intellectual, a spitefull African Robespierre who has outlasted them all." - The Fear: Robert Mugabe and the martyrdom of Zimbabwe, Peter Godwin.

Fortunately Finland is a neutral country so the war wouldn't directly affect us, but all prices would probably skyrocket.

The biggest fear is an unintended hostile act causing things to spiral into a limited naval and air war. All out war is unlikely though.
