i think i know how to stop LFR from ruining the game for me

LFR has ruined raiding for me because i get to see all of the content with little to no challenge. It attaches tedium to every boss instead of a sense of discovery. Well, i have a solution:

use bots in LFR whilst i afk.



There, that's all i had to do, it was that simple. Now every step of the way though the raid with my normal/hc raid team I will discover new things instead of doing the exact same thing but with exaggerated numbers (normal/hc).

No offence but since when LFR is cosidored as raiding? Its main puropse is to let players who for some reason cant raid see how story devolops.

If you only have ilvl 440 gear then you can't be doing LFR anyway, as the minimum gear level required is 460.

My suggestion would be to farm Timeless Isle chests, mobs and do the Celestials each week. This will get you to item level 496 in less than a couple of hours, and to item level 540~ish within a couple of days. After that you can easily join a flex raid.

A friend of mine experimented with that.

He was still there to supervise, in case something went wrong, but it was quite hilarious to see that the bot performed a lot better than most players in LFR.

I have done flex via oQueue for the last couple of weeks and it is a much better experience!

Our guild is in desperate need of dps just now though so I must admit I did LFR this week for the chance of decent trinkets.

1)full 496 is the starting gear now.
2)522 for people able to farm a little.
3)Flex can be cleared with 500+ ilvl ask friends or search openraid for decent group if on a dead server)
4)Why do you need HellFR again ???

that's because no one actually wants to do LFR, because they did the exact same thing last week, and the week before that, and the week before that week.

Remind me again how that makes LFR different from normal or heroic raiding? We also do the exact same thing week after week, only on a higher difficulty setting.

If you haven't killed all of the bosses in the tier before you can even set foot in LFR, you're not good enough to be whining about LFR. So I don't know what your point is.

Also, if you do the exact same thing you do in LFR when you do manage to get into your alleged "normal/hc raid team" then you'll just die.

I went the route of see the content and quit the game despite that being counter to Blizzards attempts. Flex is nice, but the developers took far too long to return to being PuG friendly and five mans have been a joke from launch. Blizzard failed to keep me engaged this expansion and if you are having that problem then perhaps take a break.
