    SLAT Processor Support

    Do all CPU's now include SLT (Second Level Address Translation) support? The main reason for asking is so that I can build virtual machines on my Windows 8 64-bit machine. I know my current CPU does not support SLT, and therefore I'm in the market for a new one.

    Most mid-high end Intel cpu's do now days, but it's turned off by default. As linked by N0cturnal, It's known as VT now. Usually a simple switch in the processor settings of any bios.
