Something like this for the boss fight?
I doubt it's really related to anything like a scenario, the name is probably a joke. As if they would call a scenario involving Medivh's fall into a coma "Medivh's Big Birthday Bash". Probably just a play on the whole cleanup thing, as if to say "hey Medivh is cleaning up the tower cause he's celebrating his birthday". That whole cleanup is probably related to some technical issue. Then again, I thought Warlords of Draenor isn't going to be WoW-related, so what do I know.
I don't care how they make Karazhan relevant, even if its just for a day. Just do it.
It's probably going to explain why Medivh was able to create the portal and show us that someone like Kairoz was the reason all along.
What's gonna be interesting is to see how the Iron Horde opens a Dark Portal with Gul'dan and his Stormreavers being persona-non-grata among the Iron Horde.
In all honesty, I think this is just a joke name (they use those for stuff we're never intended to see, like the names in game files, and for placeholder names) for a dev playground to test some new tech like the Stromgarde scenario ended up being.
I hope they change the word bash to brawl and its an event which is basicly the same as playing super smash bros on nintendo
The karazhan restoration files may have been a slipup from them similar to the iron horde files found a long time before they announced WoD. This is probably just them messing with the dataminers.
I think you guys are taking the change to the name a little to much like its the actual plan whereas I take it as something they did not want us to see yet was accidently seen they are changing the name and undoing the visual changes to kara until they want us to see it (I would say probably around 6.0).
There are references to time travel and multiple realities, specifically while fighting Prince Melchazarr. He tells the raid that they will burn in the fires of time and that he can view all realities from the tower. Time travel? Multiple realities? It’s got WoD written all over it.
My guess, it has to do with next November....
If you truly believe that, Blizzard, show me you mean it. Because WoD didn't show me.As long as players are happy and enjoy the game, the team doesn't mind extreme peaks and valleys. They just want to ensure you have a great experience and feel like you got your money's worth.
