NVIDIA GT640 is worthless for gaming. It is GDDR3 RAM not GDDR5 so you would need to spend more on a new graphics card for starters.

On top since you will need a better graphics card you would have to also purchase a more powerful power supply most likely.

    Would not buy.

non-K i7 (and the i7 is probably largely useless anyway to you, since it wasn't specified)
    weak video card
silly amount of ram for no reason but cost.

How much is this system running? I'm positive a better system can be built for much less.

Also, moving this to the Build/Upgrade subforum.
    Gaming: Dual Intel Pentium III Coppermine @ 1400mhz + Blue Orb | Asus CUV266-D | GeForce 2 Ti + ZF700-Cu | 1024mb Crucial PC-133 | Whistler Build 2267

Could you elaborate on what you want to use the PC for?

NEVER ever ever buy a prebuild tower unless you only wanna go on internet and check e-mail for 400$...

if you wanna play games, Build it yourself, if you don't know how, go check recommended build, go on site like newegg or amazon and order the parts you will save like 20-30% for the same computer and maybe more for high end computer

if you don't know how to assemble it after, i'm pretty sure you can find someone to pay who know how or check guide on youtube, i build my 1st computer myself years ago with no clue how to do, checked on internet every step and was kinda easy took me like 1 hour and a half, would do it in like 20min today

Drop that ridiculous amount of unnecessary overpriced ram and put the money towards a better graphics card. 8-16GB is more than enough RAM. That gfc you have there, is pretty bad. Get a HD Radeon 7870 or something similar. Maybe the new AMD R9 and R7 cards too.

    Thanks for the input everyone.

Why the fuck do you need 32GB RAM ?
If you are running a local hypervisor with 50 virtual servers I would understand, but if you want a gaming PC you dont need more then 10 GB.
Also throw in a smal SSD.
If you want to save alitle more buy a i5, you would get the most bang for bucks that way. The i7 is overpriced for what it is.

Have that amount of ram is very good, while its not that fastest it is still faster then ssd drives that provide no where near the same speed. Separate the ram to make a 20 gig drive, and almost every game will fit with that space and load lighting fast.

No reason not to go Haswell nowadays, specifically i5-4670k. That GPU is also a bit weak.

You also need to swap the motherboard to a Z87-chipset to get the most out of it. I'd look into the 7870 GHz models over that 7850, as there's been a considerable price drop on those. The case can be changed to the NZXT Source 210 Elite quite easily.
