    HP Pavilion 15-N066US 15" Laptop

Do you think this labtop is worth buying for $379.00 after rebate? Or should I wait for Cyber Monday?

I keep hearing about over-heating issues with HP's right now on other forums. Saying "No wonder the price is so low, they'll break less than a year" I would play games on it while I'm away from my desktop yes, but other than that, school work. I'm guessing WoW/Starcraft/LoL/BF4 would cause issues even more.

    Guessing it's that bad?

Overheating issues? What, are people using their laptops to cook popcorn or something?

Listen: I have 3 HP computers: A Laptop I got in 2006 (aged terribly but still works, LOL), a Desktop and a new laptop I bought last year on Black Friday dor $350 (no rebate WOOT).

I bought a Toshiba laptop in 2003 and the thing only lasted 2 years. I bought my first HP laptop and even though the hardware is old by today's standards, it can still play WoW and SCII with max allowed video settings. My Desktop (bought two years ago) runs everything except D3 because of its incompatible Video Card. My current laptop runs everything at Ultra and NEVER overheats.

Yes all 3 of my machines are premade builds but for what I use them for I'm fine with them and there's definitely room for customizing all three.
...Ok, time to change the ol' Sig ^_^

This time I'll leave you the Links to 3 of my Wordpress Blogs: 1. Serene Adventure 2. Video Games 3. Anime Please subscribe if you like what you see. As a Bonus, I'll throw in my You Tube channel =D

This looks almost identical to my HP G6 that I bought last year, for pretty much the same purpose (Gaming while on vacation, school work). I did a review of it. No heat problems. Sure, it gets a LITTLE warm near the vents during gaming, but little else. As long as you keep it clean, and don't sit it on a blanket or something, it should be fine.

I got mine for $300 after rebates. 400 after rebates (and tax!) might be pushing it. I've seen cheaper, honestly.
