omg... Are people still whining about LFD? it's 100x better than spamming trade for 1hour to find a grp then having the tank leave when ure at the instance. Seriously why would you even suggest this, can't you see how stupid it is?

If it took you an hour to find a group for a dungeon... it's not the games fault. I think that's what a lot of people never figured out.

And what about those who dont want to raid at all and are looking for alternatives yet get shot down by the LFRers? Not everyone gives a shit about raiding, yet it seems LFRers think everything should revolve around it as if they are scared what happens if other content is given more attention.

Unfortunately the only non-raiding alternative in the game right now is My Little Panda Adventure Island, and zerging from rare to rare gets old after about an hour or so. That was done so that Blizzard could focus on content for raiders, not LFR players. I seriously doubt that most LFR players are happy with all raid all the time, but just taking away LFR without bringing something in to replace it isn't an answer. As someone who frequently runs LFR I would gladly welcome a non-raiding alternative to keep me occupied and progressing (5-mans for instance) but experience thus far has been that, raiding aside, Blizzard takes far more than it gives. So we lose 5-mans and get Harvest Moon, Pokemon, My Little Panda Adventure Island, and LFR in return. I shudder to think at what we would get in exchange for LFR. The devil you don't know...

Blizzard has said over and over again ""LFR/LFD" is certainly a "popular" feature". I assume they just looked at the data of whoever just used it regardless of if they liked it or not. Blizzard should add a box called "I hate it" under the feature that player can check before they use. Why? So this option can tell Blizzard who uses it but hate it.

How do you think this option would change their "LFR/LFD is a popular feature" interpretation?

LFR for ilvl is pointless, as allready said here multiple time you can have better ilvl without LFR.
For gear upgrade ? But what for ? Why do you want better gear if it's not for fighting greater bosses ? I really can't understand this whole "I gear for LFR but I hate LFR" trend...

For all their other faults, Blizzard did not create low population realms for the purpose of herding players into LFD/LFR - those tools give players on their realm a better option than not playing or hoping they can put together a viable group with the few players that are around.

This is not to say that Blizzard isn't at fault for not dealing better with low pop realms, but they didn't make them by design.

Where did I say that...?

1.) 5.4.2, release very soon™ change the already implemented raidbrowser to allow you to find groups crossrealm at least for currently raid for flex, 10 and 25 man and world bosses. Not as good as oqueue, but very basically it does it job.

2.) 6.0, release not so soon™ will add new tools for group finding. So you NEVER need to search for LFR again, and since all raid sizes except mythic will be crossrealm, it shoud be possible to

LFR will not be removed, why should they: with the new tools you can choose how to play; i personally don't have always time to look for a group, so LFR is for me all right; even if it is too easy.

I read MMO-Champion too. I guess my over 4k posts would indicate that.

Read my other comment, the one two comments before the one you quoted, where I said they are finally focusing on players actually wanting to play together and making friends instead of random quick groups.

Really? Why? Because of the ridiculous rewards. I am still doing LFR Immersieus just for the trinket because it is so good while I am at ilvl 555. I don't really need it for anything other than farming flex more easily but there is seriously nothing else to do for me at this time and the effort I have to put in for the reward is very small.

This is also why I kept planting seeds on my farm because it netted me a few thousand gold by doing only 10 minutes of work. If the Tillers farm would have only given me cosmetic items I wouldn't have been planting seeds every day for weeks on multiple characters. It wasn't because I enjoyed pulling weeds out of the ground or kill vermin.
I did enjoy the first time. It was kinda fun because it was new.

If I hate something that serves no purpose other than entertaining myself, I don't do it, for example:
-watching the national soccer league matches
-listening to rap music (some exceptions)
-walking around in shopping malls, not buying anything, just checking out the stores and watching people
-doing an awful rep grinding to get a mount that I don't LOVE

If you do LFR, you don't hate it enough. You can prolly get into flex raids with ilvl about 530, and you should be able to do that with just doing weekly celestials/ordos and 535 timeless gear.
