And no you can not specify now that the pill works only ones, you made your little puzzle and i broke it, so no editing of the original terms plz!
Thought it was obvious that it was a one time use. I mean, why else would you even need to think on it?

Yeah sorry about that. I figured that they would have to consider their relationship status.

One time use pill. You take it once and it saves you and changes you as the side effect.

What does being/not being in a relationship have to do with this situation?

  6. #26
Umm, the only people I can see not doing this are people who are afraid of appearing weird or something.

Like what the fuck? It's not even some half transformation, it's a complete change. I see no disadvantage other than maybe some initial identity confusion.

Just think of all the people that would fake being deathly ill to take the pill and switch genders.

If it changes your preferences, going from liking women to liking men then you really aren't even the same person anymore. Better to die and be remembered for who you were than become something entirely different. Also, where the is No, Never option?

It would be a deal breaker for 99% of the people out there if their husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend just magically switched to the opposite sex. People can say it wouldn't be all they want, but that is horse shit.

Having or not having children would make the choice harder in my mind. You don't want your kids to lose a parent, you also don't want them to all of a sudden have to wrap their mind around how dad is now mommy #2.

Er, why, exactly? If you really think that it's that extreme why not think of it like being reincarnated?

And based on the hypothetical situation it changes your mind, so yes, you aren't the same person anymore.

Why do I want to be reincarnated as something else? How is it me if it isn't me? Reincarnation is a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo garbage. If it changes your preferences, as proposed by the OP, it is changing the way you think, which means it is changing who you are. Before you may have loved your significant other. Now you despise them, and want nothing to do with them. That is not the same person.

Honestly I'd probably just die. It's nothing to do with the 'Oh I'd rather be dead than be a woman' thing, I'm just not into major life-saving procedures (or in this case a remedy) because there's a reason I'm about to die and it's just what should happen. Whether it's my fault, nature or a freak accident, it's just supposed to happen. Call me crazy or call it destiny, whatever floats your boat.

I got it as the only thing that would change would what sex you felt attracted to.

    Yes.
strangely, it's always been one of my fantasies to be a girl, but not strong enough that i'd go through it willingly.
    better than dying too

I put no if single. one I don’t place such a high importance on my own life, when it’s time to go it’s time to go. however if I was still with my wife/kids etc. I would think about it more. also, a complete re-arrangement of your organs sounds like a pretty painful experience.

off topic (and slightly grammar nazish) what is a relation ship? is that a boat for relations?

I'd probably take the pill before the doctor has even finished his explanation completely.

I have a strong will to live.

I do not care at all which gender I am, all things considering.

Why would you be opposed to it? Why do you think that all that defines you is your body and sexual preference. Why would changing your sexual preference lead to you despising your SO and wanting nothing to do with them?

Hell yes, without a doubt. It would surely be an interesting thing to experience.

And if it turns out bad, and you do not like it, you can always go for option B. Suicide. I mean, you were gonna die anyway.
