Headphones/speakers for games like Skyrim/Fallout

What do you usually use when playing these types of games?

Sony Studio Monitors. They feel like you are wearing pillows. Can find them for 100 bucks. More then that? Well they have headphones costing thousands and of course they get better with price.

Sennheiser's are very nice but can be very pricey. Not so sure about their budget lines, but I would bet the house they are better then "gaming headphones".

Depends how much you want to spend. Superlux is the best budget choice, and actually better than most gaming headphones. If you spend more on your headphones, brands like Beyerdynamic, AKG and Audio-Technica (to name a few) become an option.

The downside of proper headphones is that since they don't come with their own sound card, and as such they need a decent audio source. An audio source is a sound card or a combined headphone amp and DAC. Due to the unforgiving nature of quality headphones, you will hear the signal noise generated by integrated audio cards.

I had some bose speakers and now im using a headset Soundblaster Evo Zx. It has amazing sound quality so far.
