Price Hike on Radeon HD 7950

Hey guys, I bought by Radeon HD 7950 over the summer for around $190. I noticed now on ebay that a lot of cards are going for 300 and above. What is the reason for this, is it because it's harder to find the card and there are still some people who want to crossfire it?

it is because of coin mining, AMD cards are very cost effective when it comes to mining and people are buying them out, since there is high demand price is going up.

Look up Litecoins and Bitcoins. The former seem to be new trend

thank you. Since I'm strictly focused on gaming, I was thinking of selling the card, and just getting a gtx 760 which would be 100 dollars cheaper.
