Question New low/mid-end build, any thoghts/improvements?

    Hello everyone.

I'm building a new computer and it's the first one I build myself, for that reason, I am worrying a bit whether it's balanced and the components were chosen appropriately. I will use this computer for random stuff (Internet, mail, blah blah blah) and some very light image/audio editing, but also for moderately serious gaming (my first "serious" gaming PC too). I plan to use a 1920x1080 screen. I'd appreciate any help.

    The build is:

    CPU: AMD FX-6300 (Stock cooler)
    MB: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
    GPU: AMD R7 260X 1GB GDDR5
    PSU: 600W (Random brand)
    RAM: Kingston 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3

I'm going to reuse some components from old computers, such as the case, DVDs and the hard drives, which will be two 160GB 7200rpm with SATA 1 connectors, which I'm quite certain will bottleneck the system, but I can't upgrade them at the moment.

Also, I don't plan to overclock my CPU at the moment, but in the future, I might want to, is this CPU suitable for nice OC and should I change my cooler immediately if I do so?

    Thank you.

Which games are you planning to play? The CPU will not run as good as intel in WoW & other MMO's.
In newer AAA games then the 6300 is the right choice though assuming budget can't be stretched for a 3570K or 4670K.

Sadly, my budget has already been stretched way too much I can't go for a Core i5 (and I can't get a Core i3 either).

WoW is most likely one of the games I'm going to play, but I haven't planned many other games yet (expect Diablo III, Dota 2... But few top-tier graphically intensive games).

The FX 6300 overclocks extremely well and can easily break 4.0ghz, although I don't know how high you can push it on a stock cooler.

All the components I listed cost around €400, that's my limit.

That was more or less the "alternate" build I was considering (Intel/Nvidia instead of AMD/ATI), I'll consider using it, as I'm not so sure about the future of AMD CPU's and their raw performance.

Sadly, I have already ordered my parts in my local computer shop, but I'm having several trouble with them, so I might cancel the order and just buy them on the Internet (which usually is more reliable than the store 100m away).

Thank you for taking your time for the build
