Hello everyone.
I'm building a new computer and it's the first one I build myself, for that reason, I am worrying a bit whether it's balanced and the components were chosen appropriately. I will use this computer for random stuff (Internet, mail, blah blah blah) and some very light image/audio editing, but also for moderately serious gaming (my first "serious" gaming PC too). I plan to use a 1920x1080 screen. I'd appreciate any help.
The build is:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 (Stock cooler)
MB: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
GPU: AMD R7 260X 1GB GDDR5
PSU: 600W (Random brand)
RAM: Kingston 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3
I'm going to reuse some components from old computers, such as the case, DVDs and the hard drives, which will be two 160GB 7200rpm with SATA 1 connectors, which I'm quite certain will bottleneck the system, but I can't upgrade them at the moment.
Also, I don't plan to overclock my CPU at the moment, but in the future, I might want to, is this CPU suitable for nice OC and should I change my cooler immediately if I do so?
Thank you.
