Thread: Monitor tints.

    Monitor tints.

    So I got my second monitor for christmas, yay \o/ the only issue I have is the differentiating colors, I tried to get the same monitor but my current one was no longer available. My only problem is how different the colours look. To me personally the monitor on the left has a yellow tint, and on the right looks fine. (In the picture the one on the right looks purple, but irl it looks white).

    How can I make them look the same, or will I not be able to because they're different monitors.

    I've already tried windows color cailbration and messing about in AMD catalyst. Also text looks a bit miff on the left monitor, like it's slightly pixelated.

    The left one is;

    Which is my new one.

    And the one on the right is;

    Any help is appreciated, thank you.

    Try using monitors built in presets and calibration instead of the one in windows.

    I've had problems getting my dual setup to match as well. There are many third party software options for adjusting color control with a lot more precision, but I've found that some of it is simply unavoidable. I'd suggest trying to change the yellow monitor to 'cool' settings via the monitor set up itself. Most monitor have 'cool' and 'warm' default profiles.

    I've done this and the colours are still off, I've even asked a few people by showing them pictures of game interfaces compared to theirs and they say it looks way off, it's also like text isn't anti aliased, even after setting up that cleartype thing :/
