As i cassual player of this game for about 9years, i'm starting to feel PVP ( random BG ) is a lost cause.
Past two weeks i've played about 35 Battlegrounds on different chars Horde and Alliance, and lost 32 of them so that is terrible .
I'm an objective based PVP player so i always run flags, support defend and assault. But most of the time i find myself alone in the bg going for objectives.
While other ppl fight it out midfield "Arena" style, and ignore the fact that the enemy is going for objectives. Most of the time if a game last more than 5 mins i get whispers from other players that insult me and encourage me to drop the flag so the enemy team can win. I find this kind of sad, why insult ppl that are trying to do what they can in order to win a match. Why play a competitive game / sport if you do not want to win ?
Does anyone experience the same insulting whispers and hatespam in Radom BGs ?
Everyone tells me i should do Rated BGs but i do not have the time for this.
Most of this hate and "We don't care about losing" state of mind started when blizz introduced honorpoints for losing a bg. Now ppl just collect their Conquest points in 2v2 and just farming honor kills in random bgs. Blizzard should consider removing the honor system as it is at this time, and only reward honor (even from Honor kills) on a victory gained by objective capturing. And also award teamplay and objective capturing more. If you do not challange ppl and just give them something for trying, this game will continue falling apart.
