How does this build look? Open to help/opinions about the build. I live in the US. Mostly just for gaming(WoW, LoL, BF4, DayZ, ect), small streaming/video making, and small audio/podcast making. Already have Win7, optical drive, and all peripherals. I dont really have a budget, but I dont want to go TOO crazy on it. I still need to get an 128GB SSD in there also but not sure yet which brand to get...and yes I plan on doing some overclocking

Motherboard is overkill (by overkill, i mean too much money lol), unless there is a specific feature you like from it. Id go with something like this:

Your case is not designed particularly well, it has trouble fitting 240 rads+fans up top. Fractal makes a better case for the same money:

It is out of stock atm but it really is a better designed case than the R4.

Ram is overpriced but so is most ram nowadays, if you like the looks of them go for it (but you can save 45 bucks here)

No reason for a 4gb 770, get this one:

Not only is it the best 770 imo, but its also on sale AND has 3 free games with it.

While corsair cx is a solid entry level PSU id stick with a better name/warranty on the PSU, 520 is more than enough for your system and this is on a decent sale atm with a 5 year warranty:

So I am a similar build that is going to be coming together in the near future, so I kinda wanted to tag onto this one to get some questions I have that you guys brought up answered.

So I was actually looking at the Asus z87-pro, but not gonna lie, the color scheme really really turned me off. And as someone that will be overclocking (and prefers Asus because I have been using their boards for years) the RoG line IMO offers some of the best OCing software out there. The other thing I wonder about, if the superiority of the sound for the RoG boards, as someone that plays with good headphones, wouldn't the Supreme FX almost make it worth while just by itself? (actual question, I have been going back and forth over mother boards for like a week now)

So would the same problems be present with a corsair H100i? I've seen quite a few youtube videos with the H100i in a pull config, but I would probably want a push config and I'm not sure if there is enough room there, or would an Obsidian 550D be a better choice if you were trying to go for a silent system (Noctua fans FTW)?

the RoG line IMO offers some of the best OCing software out there.

If you want to toss out words like 'best' then you shouldn't be using OC software at all. If you want to use software OC, spending as little as possible is probably your best bet.

That's up to the person listening. If you're going to spend money on a sound card (most people wont) then no. if you will, then yes.

Yes. At first (before I clicked the original) I thought it was an H100i. However I think Corsair has a checklist for what cases it will and wont fit.

Better than what? A 520 or 620 as listed above I would not recommend for SLI 780 (Benchmark CPU/GPU would hit 600w). A 750 is fine. That particular Corsair 860 I wouldn't get simply because it's over-expensive. I'd go with something half the price. (4 links there)

take chazus build.. will be more thansufficient for ur needs.. squeeze in a 250 gb ssd and ur set the next 3-4 years...

I don't know about you but I wouldn't trust anything Thermaltake with liquid in it anywhere near my components. NH-D14 or Dark Rock Pro 2 is plenty enough, and also quieter than AIOs.
