New to Blood Want 2 Weak Auras.

Okay so I am new (Well almost new) to playing a Blood DK and I have literally just started leveling one because I wanted a toon that can tank and I am not a big fan of Protection Paladin but I am of DK Tanking as I played one during Dragon Soul and tanked LFR and liked it. So far I am level 60 and I want 2 Weak Auras for the following.

    1. Death Strike Heal: Ok so the Death Strike Tool tip Says this...
Focuses dark power into a strike that deals 185% weapon damage plus 499 to an enemy and heals you for 20% of the damage you have sustained from non-player sources during the preceding 5 sec (minimum of at least 7% of your maximum health).
And I was wondering if there was a way to track the amount I am going to be healed by with Weak Auras.
    2. Blood Shield: Once I hit 80 and get Mastery I was wondering if there was a Weak Aura I could use to track that as well.

I would prefer it if these Weak Auras where Icons with the Duration and Absorbs left on Blood Shield and an Icon with the amount I am going to be healed for with Death Strike.

Thanks for the help it's much appreciated. : )

This sounds like it would do most of what you want. It's simple, you can move it anywhere, and shows you the amount of your blood shield and the amount of your next death strike's heal graphically.

I think it's overall more simple than what you're asking for, but it might suffice for now.

I didn't know that existed. I'm not a fan of the bars look and prefer icons though. I'll use it for now but yeah aesthetically it looks kinda blegh to me XP. I know I am being picky lol.

If you are looking for icons, get TellMeWhen.

You can put giant icons with text overlays wherever you want.

I can put icons on my screen with Weak Auras and I much prefer that to TellMeWhen as I can figure out how to make Weak Auras for almost anything except those 2 things.

Well, there is no built-in data source for the estimated healing from Death Strike, so you have to implement that yourself in lua. The addon linked above contains code implementing this; go in, lift it, and drop it into your WeakAuras custom code to find the custom value to return. (Also, obviously, to do the custom color, etc, things that you want.) http://www.wowace.com/addons/weakaur...6-time-to-die/ if you want an example of how to wire in a similar process to WA.

I believe you can just query the value of BS directly, but again, go look at the code in the addon and steal what you need for your WA strings.

Really, none of this is rocket science: if you want to use a framework for building small addons, and can't figure out how to implement something that another addon already implements, go read their code and steal it. Nobody obfuscates their lua code or makes it invisible to you, and as long as you don't distribute it you don't have much to worry about WRT licensing on the code, so...

That's a Weakaura I use, it tracks Blood Shield, Vengeance and Riposte. Just delete Vengeance and Riposte if you only want the Blood Shield. Unfortunately I have no idea how to make the Heal predictor one.
