I'm in Nova Scotia. It's starting to get really bad here. We're expected to get around 60cm of snow.

I can't wait though. Will put my new Subaru to the test.

I lived there for 2 years it gets messy but they handle it well normally. Say snow in Colorado and Buffalo seemed to deal with it much better.

Also Pizza Junction in North Tonawanda is the best pizza place I have ever been to.

Snow accumulations should only be 6-10 inches (15-25 cm) in Connecticut. Not even close to the worst.

The temperatures will be dipping to -15 Fahrenheit (-26 Celsius). That's probably the lowest its been in a decade.

I'm in Nova Scotia too but I really don't want to test my 2004 Elantra.

restart your window, and see if it still snows

Rarely. The plow system is so good that it really takes a hell of a storm to even disrupt things much. There's a lot of snow, but they're ready for it. Meanwhile, two inches cripples DC because the city is badly prepared and filled with idiots.

Very strange, in Winnipeg. We are getting better than seasonal temperatures and only 2cm of snow.

    You're reading it wrong.

2cm tonight and an additional 5-10 tomorrow.

Which is still not too bad. But there's nowhere left to plow the damn stuff too. Snowbanks are 6 feet high in some places and starting to encroach on all the curb lanes. :|

I had a beater Dodge for the longest time. What a piece of crap it was. Now I have a 2014 Crosstrek. It's been a champ in snow so far. The AWD is so good!

It's supposed to snow up in the north Georgia mountains tonight, but that's pretty far away from Atlanta, so we should be ok down here.

Half the reason I moved out of Boston was the winters. It wasn't really even the snow that bothered me, it was the slush. You literally have to leap like a ballerina from street corners to avoid that mixture of snow, ice, rain, mud, and liquid trash that cakes up around the curb. If it gets into your shoes, it's over. Your feet are going to freeze for the rest of the day.

They can keep it. It was 50 degrees in Atlanta today.

I can't say this is the worst I've ever seen - that was in 2010 when that blizzard stopped Chicago (where I live & work) dead. But it's pretty bad with anywhere from 15 - 30 inches of snow all around the Chicagoland area.

I love it, though. I took my dogs running through the snow. It was so deep that they would get completely covered and bunny hop around in it, chasing the snow they kicked up.
