By what I mean is I have a habit of chatting somebody up who I instantly realize I actually aren't interested in 'em at all! This has happened I swear 5x since 1st January. Now because I don't want to seem a dick because I initiated the conversation I now feel trapped in a flirtatious conversation with a guy I aren't interested in. Now partly this is because I am naturally flirty and also I feel guilty rejecting people because I have received that a lot.

Please tell me I aren't alone in these awkward scenarios

When I was single, I had too many guys flirting with me, so interested, and the next moment they were gone.
