Not exactly reliable in authenticity, but i wouldn't be shocked if found to be true.

Because it's just not your problem. Some maniac running a "country" thousands of miles away that doesn't affect you in any way... seriously, you don't have to get involved, you have no right to be involved and you have no reason to be involved. It is not your job to tell the world how it should be, and noone else is prepared to do it either.

Haven't checked the link yet, but the regime is still in monarchical power, because China doesn't want to lose their neighbour just yet. If China said, sure, go ahead, intervene and check out the country, I'd doubt NK could do much - even if they would. They're only so regretfully still in power, the regime that is, because fighting them, or even just doing covert operations to disarm them, would mean that one is fighting China at the end as well.

I think the dogs are being feed properly both after and before but its just done to make them more vicious due to the wording in the article about starving for 3 days but just guessing here.
