What happened to gearscore?

Why did they remove it? I thought it was a good system.

It showed the good players from the bads.

people with better with better gear are going to doing way more dps than people with bad gear 9/10.

would it be beneficial if they brought it back along with hunter mana, bringing back subs from the good wrath days? why or why not?

We have ilevel now. As with gearscore those that believe that high levels of gear guarantee a high quality player are fooling themselves.
