Monitor fails to open wow in the current resolution

I managed to change my resolution in WoW, and now its out of range from what my monitor can run. Any chance this can be fixed without me having to delete anything in the wowfolder?

open up the config.wtf file under the wow install/wtf folder edit it in notepad find the resolution line and either delete that line or manually type in a compatible resolution. save. start wow
