Hunter hotfix buffs!!!!!

Hotfix just went live that buffs damage for specs that were underperforming: Elemental Shamans, Frost and Unholy Death Knights, and Hunters. The hunter buff is just across the board for all hunters. Details will be posted soon, thanks to @Rygarius.

Hoped they would buff MM mt damage as well but hey, that's still something.

Since I'm bad at math, how does 10% more AP equal to dps increase?

Also, is it me or this is a bigger buff to BM than it is to SV>MM?

Blizzard literally buffed the highest pressure classes just now. Hunters already do insane damage combined with their CC and DKs already do stupid damage, so do ele shamans. Now they hotfix buffed them out of nowhere.

Agreed.

My main atm is ele shaman and I can't believe these changes.

Ele damage was already amazing, same with hunters.

They buffed the top dmg PVP classes (with the exception of arms warriors) for the sake of a slight PVE increase.

I can understand why people in pvp might be a bit angry, but I don't really know what to think. I haven't really seen hunters QQing for buffs in pve for a good long bit. Maybe they just decided to buff hunters just for the hell of it :P

1.) If balance is this much of a concern to you, why in God's name are you playing WoW PvP? There's 3 dozen other games that are better for PvP. Go play one of those.
2) 10% AP is not a big buff. It's not going to noticeably affect balance.
3) If you still think Hunters are OP after the myriad of PvP nerfs we've had over the last year, then you may want to start looking for something else to blame. Namely, yourself.

OT: This is great. I fully expected the DK and Shaman buffs, but didn't see this coming at all. I thought we were pretty much balanced. I was more expecting a Warlock nerf, specifically Destruction. I will enjoy being top 5 on just about every boss now, right below the stupidly overpowered Locks.
