    Whats it like in Sweden?

    Is the beer good?

    Are the women fine?

    Is the educational system good?

Does it feel more socialist, or more democratic there?

Do people drive actual cars instead of those small shit "smart" cars?

If you have ever lived or visited there, whats it like?

    Last but not least,

Would you give the country a thumbs up or a thumbs down in terms of visiting it / living there?

    Beers good.

Umm everywhere is the same really nowadays.. They don't flock ya know.

Yeah it is tbh from what I've heard

    I would not know

People walk, have public transport but the cars you see are generally not your fiat 500s and smart cars

It's nice, real good air quality compared to where I'm from and nice scenery, the country feels like a nice place to be all the time

I'd give it a big thumbs up, purely for the fact that in the shops I could take my own pack of cigarettes from above the counter put them down then pay for them. That just blew my mind for some reason...

    The beer is good.

The women are very fine, if you only count looks. If you want more than looks, they'll be slightly more rare.

I find the educational system to be lacking on several points, but overall it's probably above average.

It's quite a healthy mix of democracy and socialism. Fact is that most Swedes simply don't care much about politics, most of us stick to common sense.

Most people stick to "actual" cars, I guess. A lot of Volvos. In the bigger cities, most people stick to public transport, biking, walking, etc.

I've lived here all my life. Can't complain.

I'd give it a thumbs up for visiting and living here. I guess it depends on how nitpicky you are. I'd say there's not a lot of bad things about Sweden, but there's not a lot of exceptional things either. We're pretty average in everything. A jack of all trades. You'll find life here to be enjoyable, but perhaps, slightly too predictable and non-eventful.

Because Socialist and Democratic are mutually exclusive... yet another American who assumes Socialism = Communism.

I'll put this in simple terms for you - Better and cheaper beer than the USA, a better educational system than the USA, better women than the USA, better cars than the USA (American cars are nice to look at, awful to drive). And finally, a thumbs up. If you had to pick a country to be born in that would near guarantee you a comfortable life it has to be Norway/Sweden/Denmark.

P.s Volvo is a Swedish car company. Volvo make fantastic cars.

Why are you bashing on the USA? I simply asked if the government system was more socialist or democratic in nature. Maybe i should have asked, if it is more socialist or capitalist in nature. I never said it was necessarily a bad thing either way.

There are some wonderful fishing spots here. You may have to drive quite some distance to get to them, depending on where you are, but it's worth it.

The beer is pretty good, nothing fancy tho. The women are nothing special i'd say, especially if you want more then just the looks. I can't say that I like the educational system much, it's all very confusing at the moment. There has been a huge reform recently, and I think it will be good for the future.

I give Sweden a huge thumbs up, it's a good country overall and you will probably live a good life. I can feel a bit boring sometimes, not very exciting!

What if all I was interested in was SUPER attractive women, and didn't care about their brains or personality?

You probably should have, socialism is generally about making capitalism more humane, and while the original goal may have been to eliminate capitalism completely most if not all of the socialist-parties have abandoned that idea. So in that sense, socialism is kind of the polar opposite of capitalism.

Giving you a reference to something you'd know. I could say it's "good" but what is good? Need a level point to gauge from.

I've lived in Stockholm Sweden my entire life, im 21 and i study in "collage" here.

We have something called "Systembolaget" that has monopolly on selling alcohol over 3,5%. So while you cant buy it in normal stores, Systembolaget are pretty commonly found and they have a great soriment of all sorts of beers and other boose. So all in all i would say yes to having good beer.

Nordic women have from what i've heard a pretty good reputation and i would say that they live up to it. In "collage" you find LOTS of fine women that are both pretty and smart.

It's a democracy and imo we have a givernment that really cares about the people with wellfare systems to help those that need it, and free healthcare.

    Yes we use real cars.

I love Sweden all in all, the winter is a little bit to long but when summer finally comes you really long for it to the extent that you want to go outside just to make do with the warm months that you get.

As I went there once, in 1992, I am more than qualified to provide you with conclusive answers.

    Oh yes.

    Is the educational system good?
All the ones that spoke to me in English, spoke English, apart from some people I met who spoke some form of random gibberish that I couldn't make head-nor-tail of, who it later transpired were Scottish.

Does it feel more socialist, or more democratic there?
Left a bit, right a bit.

Do people drive actual cars instead of those small shit "smart" cars?
They all drove cars from the 70s, 80s, or 90s.

If you have ever lived or visited there, whats it like?
I've already told you, have you not been paying attention?

    Last but not least,

Would you give the country a thumbs up or a thumbs down in terms of visiting it / living there?
I'd put my thumb up lots of things in Sweden given half the chance.

Love your new avatar Jay suits you perfectly.
OT: you might get lucky and find an empty upstairs beauty and there wont be any problem or you might meet women who dump you right away for being a jerk. Every country that has given women equal rights has both types ^-^

    The beer is good

If you like blue eyes and brown blond hair you are at the right place.

Did finalized school years ago, it was quite good then, but now private school who is allowed to make profit who is publicly funded are allow...

Sorry what? Sweden have always have a marked economy with government intervention, but now are the ruling conservative party busy privatizing everything like schools, hospitals power grid etc.

People drive all sorts of cars, mostly real cars like Volvo and SAAB there are some smart cars and SUV but they are rare.

    Live there, rainy.

Thumbs up, its a friendly tourist country
