So I'm starting to notice how ridiculously high shipping costs are all of a sudden. Honestly I just bought a plastic case for my Raspberry Pi. The case costed $9.00. Shipping costed $8.00. This is from Amazon. Seems like a year ago shipping would've only costed about $3.00 at most for that case.

"From Amazon" is a meaningless statement as they are just a front end for a great many resellers. Where was it sold from? At a guess, somewhere in Asia.
