What name would you pick in WoW if nothing was reserved currently?

There are a lot of names that are instant taken -- usually generic words. Is there anything you'd like to be named if you could choose anything? It could be flower, coffee.. etc.

I would like to use Sogeking (my hunters current name) without the stupid accents I have to put into the game because some low level alliance reserved the name before me . Same goes for my Warlock which had the name Lilith since day 1 in Vanilla but when I transfered to Area 52 I met with like 100s of Lilith's.

I kind of enjoy the challenge of finding a cool name that hasn't been reserved. I'd love to have spaces available in the name, but that's it.

If I really had to force it though, I'd play a prot warrior called Obama, so people would say "Tanks Obama" to me.

I recently contacted Blizzard because I wanted the name Rift and it was taken. Surprisingly I actually got great response -- he had given the guy a name change and made the name free for use. The reason he did that is because of the fact it was an inactive character!

What I'm saying is you should try to contact Blizzard, sometimes they do wonders for you <3

You can submit a ticket and see if Blizzard will release the name. I did that with my shaman recently.

I am quite fine with my characters names. A pet peeve of mine is names that are obviously stolen, like Drizzt, Legolas, Khaleesi, etc. For me those feel... how to explain it? Uninspired, lazy and they feel there is a lack of imagination, maybe even a desperate shout to be popular by leeching off someting. The more popular the source is, the more I roll my eyes at it. Especially when they actually try to roleplay as that very character.
However, if I come upon a name that I haven't seen copied 600 times last week and where I know that the source for it is maybe slightly obscure now (Like Cutter, Redlance, Menion, Shamino or Belkram) I can accept those easier.

But again, that's just me.
