Extra roll more then 1 time on a boss?

I have read and heard ppl saying that you can extra roll on same boss several times in LFR?
What I'm wondering is this really true and does it work on Flex also?

It atleast used to be true back in 5.0-5.3.

I have not personally checked in 5.4 and no idea about flex.

You can use a coin as many times as you have them in LFR. I don't know about Flex, but you can in LFR for sure. Used to q up and do just the first boss for a chance at a drop a couple times a week.

You can coin the same boss multiple times in Flex; it works just like it does in LFR.

Yep, just re-do it and you can coin the same boss.

Back when I wanted to get my 4P so badly, I ran LFR part 3 3 times per week just to coin Thok.
